Exploded views in Interactive 3D enbale customers to fully explore a product’s internal material composition.

Fanatic boards are highly technical with a precise shape and multiple superimposed layers of materials to give them their strength and flex.

Showing both the construction layers and the whole board whilst providing essential insights into the product’s technology presented them with a challenge.

Using Emersya’s technology, Fanatic overcame this challenge by creating 2 types of interactive 3D product experiences:

1. An exploded view using real-time 3D animation for their inflatable SUP boards (shown in the video)
2. A see-through outer layer of the board, allowing users to see the internal material layers and the interactive annotations, for their range of hard boards.

These experiences are great examples of how Interactive 3D can be used online AND in-store to provide innovative omni-channel product presentations that engage and educate consumers.
