What is Mendix DLM?
Mendix is a low-code application development platform from Siemens.
Mendix Digital Lifecyle Management solution is a low code, connected platform that helps fashion & retail brands to digitalize their concept to commerce process by creating an end-to-end workflow across different digital twin solutions.
The solution helps streamline the production workflow (ideation, planning, design, merchandising, development, sourcing, sampling, and manufacturing) while encouraging collaboration between all brand stakeholders (suppliers, retailers, internal teams).

Mendix DLM X Emersya Digital Product Creation
Emersya has partnered with Mendix DLM to provide fashion and retail brands with the ability to create new style variants online, in Interactive 3D!
Thanks to the CLEVR integration, the Emersya collaborative design tool is now seamlessly integrated into the Mendix workflow.
Users can try out different colors and materials on each product part in Interactive 3D or use the randomizer to automatically generate dozens of new variant ideas based on a selected color palette.
Once the new variant is saved, it is automatically synchronized with Mendix DLM. No need to manually generate renders and fill in all the data fields to create a new style variant, the data arrives directly from Emersya. The Bill Of Materials is automatically updated with the color and material data for each part of the new style variant. This saves valuable creative time and reduces the risks of errors from manually data input.
The integration can be customized to each brand’s needs. For example, brands can automate the generation of photo-realistic product imagery for their different style variants and push them directly to the DLM.
Once the new style variant has been created in Mendix DLM, it can be viewed in Interactive 3D by any team member, either directly within the DLM solution or by sharing a link to load it in the Emersya Interactive 3D viewer.
Later on, this link can even be embedded in the product page to showcase the style in Interactive 3D or Augmented Reality and provide online customers with an engaging shopping experience!
